BUFFALO'S (Food Service Inspections)*
117 E FELTON RD CARTERSVILLE, GA 30120

- Observed personal drink in the small reach in refrigerator near the grill over food items. Drink was discarded.
- Observed cooked foods stored mixed in with non cooked products in the walk in cooler. Discussed with PIC. The cooked foods were relocated during the inspection. Corrected On-Site.
- Observed several food contact/prep areas that were in need of being cleaned and sanitized. Inside of microwave, inside of refrigerators, cardboard box of liners that line the food baskets. Pointed these areas out to and discussed with the PIC during the inspection.
- Observed grilled chicken breast in steam table held at 118 F, chicken fingers being hot held near the heat lamp, but the pan was turned sideways and too large to be under the heat lamp. This chicken was at 109 F when checked. Chicken that was out of temp was discarded by the PIC. Corrected On-Site.
- Observed phone and portable speaker sitting on top of bread on bread rack. Items were relocated. Corrected On-Site.
- Observed maintenance tools, etc stored on shelving above and mixed in with food storage containers. Discussed with PIC during the inspection. Items were relocated. Corrected On-Site.
- Discussed with PIC the need to install shielding (plexiglass, stainless, etc.) between the shelving in the walk in cooler similar to the other protective shielding that was installed previously.
- A follow-up inspection will be held May 15.
