CARTERSVILLE, GA -- The Bartow County Environmental Health Department conducted food service inspections Dec. 23-30 at the following establishments:

• Observed potentially hazardous foods being cooled within the walk in cooler that were not properly marked with an initial cooling time and could not be verified to have reached 70F within two hours. Discussed with PIC and cook the need to label foods being cooled with the start time for cooling in order to verify it reached its cooling parameters.
• Observed a few spray bottles that were not labeled with the contents inside. All spray bottles should be labeled with contents even if it is only water.
• Observed the floor grout in some areas of the kitchen has been worn away allowing water and food debris to collect. All of the waste food debris and standing water needs to be cleaned out and the grout replaced.
