  • Observed employee drinking from an open beverage container in a food preparation or other restricted area. CA: PIC removed drink after the issue was pointed out. Corrected on-site.
  • As noted on previous inspection: Observed cooked foods in the reach in cooler that were not properly date marked. Cooked foods must be marked with a seven day discard date with "Day 1" being the day the food was cooked. Foods were labeled during the inspection.
  • Observed fruit and vegetable sink being used for purposes other than washing fruits and vegetables. CA: Discussed with PIC About using vegetable sink for washing vegetables only.
  • As on previous inspection, observed accumulation of debris on in-between equipment. CA: Discussed with PIC about cleaning frequencies. Corrected on-Site
  • Outer openings (Back door) of establishment were not properly sealed when not in operation. CA: Door was closed when brought to PIC's attention.

  • Observed food uncovered in the walk in cooler. Discussed with the PIC that all food items need to be covered in the walk in cooler. Corrected On-Site.
  • Observed personal phone sitting on top of food wrapping paper. Wrappers were discarded and phone was relocated. Corrected On-Site.
  • Observed drink machines for customer use that were dirty and in need of cleaning. Discussed with the PIC. Corrected On-Site.
  • McFlurry machine is dirty and in need of cleaning. Pointed out to PIC.
  • Observed ice scoop being stored in contact with the ice. Discussed with the PIC the proper storage of the ice scoop with the handle up. Corrected On-Site.
  • As noted previously, observed waste food debris in the bottom of the coolers, pull out drawers, etc. Discussed with PIC.
  • Need to locate a trash can at each hand sink. Discussed with PIC.
  • Public restrooms are in need of cleaning. Discussed with PIC.
  • Observed a personal jacket stored on top of single service items. Jacket was relocated to designated areas for personal belongings. Corrected On-Site.

  • Observed standing liquid and food debris in the bottom of the reach in coolers. Pointed out to PIC..
  • Observed many dishes with waste, stuck on foods on them. Pointed out to staff and instructed on the need to verify cleanliness prior to stacking them as "clean.
  • Observed potentially hazardous foods (chopped ham and sliced ham) in top of the prep cooler holding at 58F. These foods were discarded. Cooler was to be placed out of service until repaired to hold foods at 41F or below.
  • Missing thermometers in one reach in cooler and in the walk in cooler. PIC to replace those. Corrected On-Site.
  • Observed sanitizing solution that did not have the proper strength of sanitizer. Also observed several damp wiping cloths that were not stored in a sanitizing solution at all. Discussed with PIC. Corrected On-Site.
