The Bartow County Environmental Health Department conducted food service inspections Sept. 12-19 at the following establishments:

• Observed old food debris left on sauce bottles and food containers after being cleaned. CA: Informed PIC that containers should be thoroughly washed and cleaned.
• Observed residue from old labels stuck to food containers after cleaning. CA: Discussed and demonstrated a method in order to remove residue.
• Observed heated soak tank for pizza screens located in employee restroom. CA: Tank can not be located in the restroom area. Will follow-up.
• Observed no hand-washing sign located in main kitchen hand sink. CA: Informed PIC that hand-washing sign should be posted at all times. Will provide sign.
• Observed no ServSafe certification posted. CA: Informed PIC that a current ServSafe certification should be posted for public view.
• Observed food containers not properly air-dried. CA: Discussed proper drying methods with PIC.
• Observed wall soiled with accumulated debris in dish washing area. CA: Informed PIC that walls should be cleaned thoroughly.
• Observed several gnats near the three-compartment sink. CA: Discussed with PIC about making sure area is clean and free of standing water.
