Here are the top three stories today in Cartersville:
- Mac Johnson Road from US 41/411 north to Bishop Road will be closed to through traffic from Monday, October 31 at noon to Monday, November 14 at 5:00 PM. The road work is to improve areas near the new Food City. (WBHF via Facebook)
- Bartow County Parks and Recreation's 11th annual complimentary Fall Festival will be presented Halloween night from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton Crossing Park. Check out other festivities offered in the county. (Subscription: The Daily Tribune News)
- At an Oct. 20 meeting, members of the Cartersville City Council approved a motion allowing city officials to enter into negotiations with a developer for a proposed downtown residential project.
