  3. Tom and Ruth Kenyon, former leaders of the local Salvation Army, died Oct. 22 from their injuries in a vehicle accident in Colorado. Ruth Kenyon died instantly and her husband passed away later at the hospital. Their teenage daughter ended up surviving the accident and is in stable condition.
