Rose Lawn Arts Festival Celebrates 40th Year

Cartersville and Bartow County residents looking for a fun event to check out while enjoying this weekend’s beautiful weather can look no further than the 40th annual Rose Lawn Arts Festival.

This year’s celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20 on the grounds of the Rose Lawn Museum.

The annual festival, which comes with free admission, will feature works of artists who are from all corners of the southeast. Fine art and heritage craft exhibits include oils, watercolors, and pastels, sculptures in wood, brass, and glass, and many other unique hand-crafted items.

The American Association of University Women will also hold its annual book sale during the festival, and the house will be open for guided tours.
