Salsa & Ballroom Dancing Fad arrives in Cartersville

It began when local Steps of Faith Dance Instructors volunteered their talent and time to aid the local homeless shelter with the what became an extremely successful fundraiser. This event literally turned Cartersville heads towards the possibility of learning Salsa and Ballroom Dances themselves for Weddings, Quinceanos and other occasions but also just for the fun and friendship with spouse, family and friends.

Steps of faith recruited me, a.k.a. “Dance coach G”. d.b.a. ”Dance Resolution” in order to show them how to Style and Shimmy away with a Cha Cha smile on their faces and also gracefully float and sway across the dance floor with the beautiful, romantic Waltz. The Ballroom class doubled in size within the first week and people are already asking about the next round!

They will be introduced to a new dance per 4 weeks. In the Spring and Fall the 8 week courses will cover 2 dances.

First they are about to add 6 weeks of spicy Salsa moves in time for Cinquo de Mayo and beyond starting on Tuesday,April 14th at 8pm followed by a new Ballroom class a couple of weeks later. The community is on the move to Shake a Leg together and we are looking forward to dancing with you, too.
