Seminars Boost Farmers Market Sales
Bartow County Farmers Market is held each Wednesday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon in front of City Hall.

Bartow County Farmers Market representatives say weekend seminars hosted by Bartow County Cooperative Extension were a success, with vendors reporting an increase in attendance and sales.
“Hopefully, this will be the first of many educational programs and events held at the Farmer’s Market,” Bartow County Extension Coordinator/Agriculture Agent Paul Pugliese said in a press release.
The seminars were presented to provide an overview of services and resources available through the to assist home gardeners, beginning farmers and those interested in home food preservation. Next summer, extension agents plan to offer more programs and seminars in conjunction with the farmers market.
