The deputy met with a woman who said two men entered the house around 9 a.m. by shattering the glass door on the back of the house with two rocks found in the backyard, according to an incident report from the agency.

The woman said her mother and boyfriend were not at the house at that time, and she was alone in a spare bedroom watching television when she heard the glass break.

When she went to go investigate, she said she “observed two black males entering the home through the broken glass door.”

“[The woman] stated she tried to hide, but one of the black males grabbed her right arm and pulled her into the master bedroom on the other side of the house,” the report states.

One of the suspects, who was allegedly carrying a large hand gun, told the woman “to lie face down on the bed with two pillows over her head without moving, and she wouldn’t be hurt,” according to the report.

After the suspects rummaged through the home, they left through the front door and drove away in what sounded like a small car, the woman told police.

A portable safe, televisions and some spare change were allegedly taken by the suspects. The victim’s mother and her boyfriend returned home, and said they could not think of anyone who could possibly be involved in the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (770) 382-5050.
