Spooky Museum Set For Oct. 21 In Cartersville

The event will be hosted by the Bartow History Museum.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- The Bartow History Museum will be transformed into its Spooky Museum for its next installment of the Museum After Dark series. Fairies, pirates, monsters, princesses and other characters are invited to join organizers from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21.

A costume contest has been added to this year lineup for all children 12 and under who wish to participate. The costumes should be kid-friendly and can be store purchased or homemade. A first-, second- and third-place prize will be given for the judge’s favorite costumes (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. The contest begins at 5:30 p.m. Don’t have a costume? No problem! You can simply show up as you are and get your face painted, play some games, create a craft and sample some of the tasty treats. Visit the exhibit gallery to see some eerie museum visitors, creepy crawlies and spooky surprises.
