Man Stabbed While Walking In Bartow County

The man said he was attacked by two men Friday morning in the area of S.R. 293 and Hamilton Crossing Park.

KINGSTON, GA — Detectives with the Bartow County Sheriff's Office are investigating a stabbing reported Friday morning near Cartersville.

Deputies were dispatched before 9 a.m. to a location on Shaw Street in Kingston and met with the victim, who said he was walking from the area of S.R. 293 and Hamilton Crossing Park when he was "attacked by two males" roughly 30 minutes earlier, said sheriff's office spokesperson Sgt. Jonathan Rogers.

"The injury is not believed to be life threatening and he was taken to an area hospital by ambulance," Sgt. Rogers added.
