Steven Ford Brown II, 24, Devoted Father and Loyal Friend

Brown, who lived in Cartersville, also had a great sense of humor and was an avid outdoorsman.

Steven Ford Brown, II, 24, of Cartersville, died Saturday, Sept. 20 at his residence.

Steven was born on October 19, 1989, in Marietta. He was a loving devoted father and a loyal generous friend with a big heart. He had a great sense of humor and was a true thrill seeker. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, canoeing and floating the river.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Ed Hicks. Survivors include his father, Steven Ford Brown (Kimberly) of Taylorsville; mother, Robin Jolly (Curt) of Cartersville; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Carol Brown of Cartersville; maternal grandmother, Doris Ann Hicks of Cartersville; sister, Erika Anne Brown of Cartersville; brothers, Joseph and Thomas Jolly both of Cartersville; stepsister, Savannah Findley of Taylorsville; stepbrother, Reed Findley of Taylorsville; son, Cayden Nicholas Brown of Cartersville; mother of Cayden, Mari Griffin of Cartersville; aunts, Lisa Wehunt (Bill) of Cartersville, Traci Harris (Jeffrey) of Cartersville; and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Rev. Roye Glass and Joe Tilley officiating.

Interment will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends on Monday, Sept. 22 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Jolly, Joseph Jolly, Reed Findley, Lukas Baggett, Josh Quick and Drew Jarret.
