The identity of the suspect killed in the shootout is being withheld pending notification of family, Ledbetter added.

It's at least the second violent crime reported at the store this year.

In late June, a cashier working the register at the convenience store was pistol-whipped by 26-year-old Ashley Marie Nasier during an armed robbery. Nasier, who was later apprehended in Sandy Springs, was charged in connection to that case.

Anyone with information about the incident and the identity of the two remaining suspects is asked to please contact the Cartersville Police Department at (770) 382-2526.
