Teen Injured in ATV Accident in Bartow County

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- A male teenager was injured Sunday in an accident involving an ATV near Euharlee.

Crews with Bartow County Emergency Medical Services responded to the accident on Rogers Road, which sits to the south of U.S. 411 and northwest of the city limits.

Crews arrived on the scene to find a male, believed to be around 15 or 16 years old, suffering numerous injuries after the ATV he was operating left the roadway and struck a tree, said Bartow EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran.

The teenager was transported to Floyd Medical Center in Rome for treatment. Return to Patch for updates.
