Teens Injured In ATV Accident In Cartersville

BARTOW COUNTY, GA -- Two teenagers were injured Saturday in an accident involving an all-terrain vehicle in Cartersville.

Crews with Bartow County Emergency Medical Services were dispatched Jan. 7 to a call on Lindsey Drive near Collier Street, which is located off Jones Mill Road.

They arrived on the scene to find two patients -- one female and one male -- with injuries stemming from the ATV rollover accident.

Specifically, the girl complained of back and leg pain while boy possibly had an orbital fracture, said Bartow EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran.

They both were transported to Floyd Medical Center for treatment.
