Top Gun Powder Coating Expands Into Bartow County

ADAIRSVILLE, GA -- Top Gun Powder Coating & Architectural Coating, a business dedicated to providing world class architectural finishes, will expand and create a total of 70 jobs in Adairsville and Jasper, the Georgia Department of Economic Development said Tuesday.

The two-pronged expansion includes Top Gun adding 10 employees to its existing location in Jasper, and creating 60 additional jobs with the opening of a new facility in Adairsville.

“We are very excited about our newest facility in Adairsville," said Dean Porio, president of Top Gun. "This addition will provide us with a lot of new opportunities and challenges. We appreciate all the support that we have received from both the city of Adairsville and Bartow County. We are looking forward to being a successful and contributing business in the community.”

Top Gun opened in 2005 and currently employs 35 full-time associates at four locations. Top Gun provides architectural coatings such as Kynar, powder, industrial liquid and military and media blast cleaning services to support the defense, sports and recreation, commercial food and lodging, transportation, oil, gas and electric industries.

“The city of Adairsville is very pleased to have Top Gun Powder Coating locating in our community,” Mayor Kenneth Carson added. "They are a welcome addition to our industrially diversified job market and we are very excited to have Mr. Porio, and the Top Gun team here.”

The company plans to move into a facility at 200 Princeton Boulevard in Adairsville, and expects to be up and running by August.
