Trevor Lawrence Honored By Georgia State Senate
The 2017 graduate of Cartersville High School and quarterback for the Purple Hurricanes was honored for his success in the community.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Sen. Bruce Thompson presented Senate Resolution 605 recognizing Cartersville High School graduate Trevor Lawrence for his success as a distinguished athlete and leader in his community and the state of Georgia.
“Acknowledging Trevor for all of his accomplishments would take much more than the words I can put into this resolution,” the Bartow County Republican said. “This young man has made our community so proud by the poise and drive that he encompasses. Trevor’s strong work ethic, loyalty and love for his family and team and above all, his unashamed love for the Lord are just a few of the qualities you can add to his long list of achievements. Through all of his success, Trevor is one of the most kind-hearted, humble people I have met and I was so honored to present him with a resolution highlighting his talent and character.”
Lawrence recently finished his senior year at Cartersville High School where he led the Purple Hurricanes football team to two AAAA state championship wins with an overall record of 52-2 and a record 41 game winning streak, serving as quarterback and the number one recruit in the nation.
