Two-Day Pub Crawl Comes To Downtown Cartersville

The Cartersville Downtown Development Authority is gearing up for its September First Friday celebration.

The theme for next month is Fall Crawl, and plenty of shops and restaurants will be open until 8 p.m. to allow residents to take advantage of great deals and discounts.

The Cartersville DDA has organized a Pub Crawl for the September First Friday, which will start at 5 p.m.

For $30, participants will receive a t-shirt (which must be worn the evenings of the event) and a ticket to present to each participating restaurant for a free beer. The DDA notes this will be the largest pub crawl in downtown Cartersville to date.

Because seven restaurants are participating, the DDA has decided to make this a two-day event, extending the pub crawl through 5 p.m. Saturday. This will allow participants to take their time and visit all of the restaurants on the crawl.

“It is so wonderful to see more and more businesses want to participate in our First Friday events and help bring people to Downtown Cartersville,” said Special Events Coordinator Hollie Duncan. “We are very excited about the September First Friday Fall Crawl and expect it to be a sold out event.”

Participating restaurants include: Ate Track Bar & Grill, Appalachian Grill, Jefferson’s Restaurant, Mellow Mushroom, Primo’s Cocina Mexicana, The City Cellar & Loft and The Local Bar & Grill.

Cash, money order, or check will be accepted as payment prior to receiving your t-shirt and ticket at the Downtown Cartersville Train Depot.

Citizens must be 21 years of age or older to participate, and everyone is asked to please drink responsibly.
