Wallet Stolen From Sleeping Visitor At Hospital: Police
The woman said her wallet was taken from her purse last weekend at Cartersville Medical Center, a sheriff's office incident report states.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — The Bartow County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help them track down a woman accused of taking a wallet from the purse of a visitor at Cartersville Medical Center. A deputy was dispatched to the hospital around 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 14 and met with the victim.
The woman said she fell asleep Saturday evening in the ICU waiting room at the hospital and left her purse beside the chair on the floor. When she woke up the next day, her wallet had been removed from her purse, the incident report states.
The sheriff's office shared surveillance photos of the woman wanted for questioning in connection with the case on its Facebook page in an effort to get tips from its followers. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bartow County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division at 770-382-5050 ext 6030.
