Warming Shelter Reopens In Cartersville Through Wednesday

CARTERSVILLE, GA — As temperatures remain low this week, Tabernacle Baptist Church in Cartersville has reopened its warming center for anyone in need.

The warming shelter at the church, located at 112 N Church Street in Cartersville, will remain open through Feb. 9. The hours are:

• Monday, Feb. 7 - Opens at 5 p.m. and closes at 7:30 a.m.
• Tuesday, Feb. 8 - Opens at 8 p.m. and closes at 7:30 a.m.
• Wednesday, Feb. 9 - Opens at 8 p.m. and closes at 7:30 a.m.

Warm meals, coffee, and small drinks along with blankets, pillows, and blow up mattresses will be provided.

If you come in contact with any individuals needing shelter, direct them to the warming shelter or contact Justin Greene at anytime to arrange transportation. His Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter work cell phone number is 470-601-4243. That number can be given to anyone.
