Warming Shelter Reopens In Cartersville Through Wednesday

A warming center has reopened at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Cartersville.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — As temperatures remain low this week, Tabernacle Baptist Church in Cartersville has reopened its warming center for anyone in need.

The warming shelter at the church, located at 112 N Church Street in Cartersville, will remain open through Feb. 9. The hours are:

  • Monday, Feb. 7 - Opens at 5 p.m. and closes at 7:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 8 - Opens at 8 p.m. and closes at 7:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 9 - Opens at 8 p.m. and closes at 7:30 a.m.

Warm meals, coffee, and small drinks along with blankets, pillows, and blow up mattresses will be provided.
