Warrant Roundup Operation Leads To Drug, Theft Arrests

Cartersville, GA -- A warrant roundup operation conducted Thursday led to the arrest of several suspects and the recovery of stolen property.

Investigators with the Cartersville Police Department joined forces with the Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force to carry out the operation, which was designed to “to locate known wanted suspects and attempt to locate stolen property, narcotics or other evidence of crimes,” Cartersville police said.

Based on the lead up investigation and the arrest of some of the suspects, various stolen property was returned to the rightful owners and “potential futures crimes were avoided,” Cartersville said.
