  1. City Council approves waste station permit: Cartersville City Council voted Nov. 3 to approve a special use permit for a proposed waste transfer station. The city's Planning Commission previously voted to approve the special use permit, with conditions. (Subscription: The Daily Tribune News)
  2. Bartow's 2022 Election results: Please keep in mind that the totals are unofficial. Elections Supervisor for Bartow County, Joseph Kirk, has to verify and certify the final numbers before sending them to the Georgia Secretary of State. (wbhfradio.org)
  3. Bartow County Fire & Emergency Services issues alert: There will be a wind advisory in effect until November 11 at 7:00PM. 15 to 25 mph northeast winds with gusts up to 40 mph expected. Please secure outdoor objects as gusty winds could blow around any unsecured items. There is a possibility that tree limbs could be blown down and power outages may result.
