What's Open, Closed For Christmas In Bartow County
State, county and city government offices, the post office, schools and others will be taking a break early next week.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Most government offices and lots of businesses will be closing early next week in Bartow County as we observe Christmas.
Here's a rundown of what's open and what's closed in Bartow for Christmas 2017:
- All Bartow County government offices, except law enforcement and others required for citizen comfort and safety, will be closed Monday, Dec. 25 and Tuesday, Dec. 26. County offices will resume normal operations on Dec. 27.
- Cartersville City and Bartow County schools are on their winter breaks.
- Bartow County Public Library branches will be closed Saturday, Dec. 23 through Tuesday, Dec. 26. They will reopen Dec. 27.
- Georgia state offices, including driver's services, will be closed Dec. 25-26.
- U.S. Postal Service post offices will be closed Dec. 25.
- City offices, including Adairsville, Cartersville, Euharlee, Emerson, White and Kingston, will be closed Friday and Monday or just Monday and Tuesday.
- Trash pickup for city of Cartersville customers will not occur Dec. 25-26. Monday, Tuesday and regular Wednesday customers will be served Dec. 27.
