  1. The incoming cold front and high temps this week are expected to usher in "a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms." With the expected weather for the remainder of this week comes an increased chance of heavy thunderstorms and the possibility of even rougher weather. 2. Black Bartow Events, LLC's Trey Benham has a welcoming and all-encompassing vision for the future of Bartow. Benham is striving to erase that 'invisible line.' "We should not be afraid or feel uncomfortable to go anywhere in a city that a lot of us were born and raised in." Black Bartow's upcoming events are aimed at "finding a way to get young Black professionals or future professionals into one of these rooms where they might not feel comfortable in." (Subscription: The Daily Tribune News)
