Wine Tasting To Benefit March For Babies

Olive Tree & Vine will host the event benefiting Northwest Georgia Mountains March for Babies on Jan. 20 in Cartersville.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Olive Tree & Vine will host a special wine tasting from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 to benefit the Northwest Georgia Mountains March for Babies. For a suggested donation of $10, guests will enjoy a wine tasting as well as appetizers provided by Maine Street Coastal Cuisine.

All proceeds will be donated to the organization to support its mission to end prematurity and help more moms have healthy babies.

The 2018 Northwest Georgia Mountains Ambassador, Riley Duncan, and her family will be on hand at the event for a meet and greet. Riley, the 18 month old daughter of Brandon and Kristi Duncan, was born at 31 weeks, weighing only three pounds, ten ounces, and with serious complications requiring the support of a neonatal intensive care unit. Riley, baby sister to four older brothers ranging in age from 3 to 10 years old, is now thriving and her parents decided to share her story in an effort to help others.
