The accident, which involved one vehicle leaving the road and going down an embankment, was reported on Highway 20 at Chandler Lane.

WHITE, GA -- Two people, including a juvenile, were injured Monday afternoon in a four-vehicle accident along Highway 20 in eastern Bartow County.
The Bartow County Fire Department, Bartow County EMS and Georgia state troopers all responded to the crash on S.R. 20 at Chandler Lane near White. According to the Georgia State Patrol, four vehicles were traveling eastbound on the highway when the fourth vehicle, a 2004 Ford Explorer, rear-ended a car in front of it, "causing a chain reaction."
The other vehicles, the agency added, were stopped or slowing down due to construction in the area.

First responders arrived to find two patients suffering from various injuries. The first, a woman, sustained a small cut to her leg, which required bandaging, said Bartow EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran. The second victim, a juvenile, complained of "pain all over," he added. She was transported to Cartersville Medical Center for evaluation.
Cothran said one of the vehicles involved in the crash left the roadway and went down an embankment. The driver of the Ford Explorer, Teresa Burrows, 54, of White, was charged with driving under the influence, child endangerment and following too closely. The Georgia State Patrol said there were three children in the vehicle under the age of eight at the time of the crash.
