A woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident Saturday evening in Bartow County.

The crash occurred Dec. 5 along U.S. 41/Joe Frank Harris Parkway at the Red Top Mountain Connector near Emerson. Bartow County Emergency Medical Services crews from Fire Station 6 responded to the crash, said EMS spokesperson Brad Cothran.
Cothran said crews arrived on the scene to find two patients. One female patient “was dead upon their arrival,” and the second male patient has been transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital for treatment, Cothran added.
