Woman Found Dead Inside RV Fire In Bartow County
BREAKING: Bartow County sheriff's deputies and firefighters made the discovery Sunday afternoon on Bailey Hill Road near Cartersville.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — The Bartow County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a fire Sunday afternoon.
Deputies and firefighters with the Bartow County Fire Department were dispatched around 1:30 p.m. to a call of a fire in an RV on Bailey Hill Road, which is located off Ga. 20/U.S. 411 west of Cartersville.
First responders arrived and found a woman, a 57-year-old resident of Ball Ground, "had died in the fire," sheriff's office spokesperson Sgt. Jonathan Rogers said.

An early investigation indicates the RV was undergoing engine repairs, which led to the fire, Sgt. Rogers added.

No foul play is suspected at this time, and the investigation remains open until an autopsy can be performed. The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
