Man Electrocuted At Plant Released From Hospital (UPDATED)
The accident was reported Thursday at Piedmont Resin Supply in Cartersville.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- A man who was electrocuted Thursday morning at a Cartersville industrial plant has been released from the hospital.
That's according to Brad Cothran, Bartow County Emergency Medical Services spokesperson.
The agency responded around 7:18 a.m. March 30 to the accident at Piedmont Resin Supply at 420 South Erwin Street.

The 37-year-old male was found lying on the ground and "unresponsive," the EMS spokesperson said.
"The bystanders stated he had been electrocuted while working," Cothran added.

He was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital for treatment.
Piedmont Resin General Manager Shannon Bennett said the man was released after spending roughly two hours at the hospital.
"All is well and he should be returning to work as scheduled," Bennett added.
