Worker Rushed To Hospital After Falling 30 Feet at Toyo Tires

A 49-year-old man was rushed to an Atlanta hospital following a workplace accident on Monday in Bartow County.

Bartow County EMS Public Information Officer Brad Cothran said first responders arrived onto the scene around 9 a.m. April 20 at Toyo Tires, which is at 3660 U.S. 411 in unincorporated White.

Cothran said a 49-year-old man, who was working with a contractor for the tire manufacturer, fell 30 feet while he was on a scissor lift. The worker suffered a “severe fracture” to his leg and possible internal injuries.

The victim was transported by medical helicopter to Atlanta Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.
