WSB-TV Features Etowah Indian Mounds

Called a hidden treasure, Cartersville's is set to be featured on the Emmy Award-winning series Incredible Adventures On Georgia's Hidden Treasures on WSB-TV.

The Wednesday offering returns to prime time with the show beginning at 8 p.m. In addition to the local state historic site, it will feature Dukes Creek near Helen and Piedmont Park in Atlanta.

Channel 2’s Fred Blankenship covers the mounds, helping John Pruitt and Jovita Moore "take viewers on an exploration of Georgia just in time for family summertime travel."
