โข Eighth graders explore career pathways at Columbus expo (wtvm.com) โ Columbus eighth graders from several Muscogee County middle schools spent Tuesday exploring high school magnet programs and career paths at the LOTT expo, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and school district. With hands-on activities and guidance from educators and business leaders, about 2,500 students discovered new schools, programs, and careers they might pursue right here in the community.

โข Columbus community kicks off Hispanic Heritage month with celebration of culture (wrbl.com) โ Broadway in Columbus came alive with music and dancing as the community launched Hispanic Heritage Month with its first annual kickoff celebration, highlighting Latino cultures and contributions. Organizers hope to grow the event next year, and residents can continue celebrating through October 15, including the upcoming Tri-City Latino Parade planned for Saturday, September 19.
