Brian Kemp suspended Georgia's motor fuel excise tax for 30 days starting Tuesday, trimming more than 30 cents per gallon. With Columbus' average price recently at $4.17, the move is expected to offer quick relief at the pump and slightly lower costs on everyday goods shipped by diesel trucks.
