• Man Charged With Murder In Wife's Death In Forsyth Co. (patch.com) — Residents in and around Cumming are learning more about a deadly domestic incident in Forsyth County, where deputies say an 81-year-old woman was found fatally injured in her Collins Point Road home Sunday evening. Her 85-year-old husband has been charged with murder and aggravated assault and is being held at the Forsyth County Jail as investigators continue their work.

• Disability nonprofit to take over old Freedom Mill site (appenmedia.com) — A long-vacant entertainment complex on Spot Road in Cumming is being transformed into a new Creative Enterprises campus offering day services and job opportunities for residents with developmental disabilities.
