• New Sports Resale Store Touches Down In GA (patch.com) — Families in Cumming now have a more affordable option for sports and fitness gear with the opening of Play It Again Sports on Atlanta Road. Co-owner Corey Snowberger says the store's buy-sell-trade model and loyalty program are designed to lower the cost of getting kids and adults into sports, and strong early community support even allowed them to open ahead of schedule.
   

• Alpharetta, Forsyth crime: Drugs, fraud and a Flock assist (appenmedia.com) — Forsyth County deputies say a 68-year-old Cumming woman lost $15,000 after scammers posed as fraud investigators and convinced her to hand over cash in a box. The same crime roundup details a Forsyth traffic stop that uncovered marijuana and ecstasy, plus separate arrests in Alpharetta tied to meth possession and shoplifting warrants.
