Forsyth Man Arrested For Estranged Wife's Murder

A woman was found dead and a man was found walking with what appeared to be blood on his clothing Monday evening.

CUMMING, GA β€” A 51-year-old Forsyth County man was arrested Monday evening for the murder of his estranged wife.

Sheriff's deputies found Zhibin Duan walking on Gallatin Way in southeast Forsyth County with what appeared to be blood on his clothing, according to a news release.

They had been called to the Wyndham Park subdivision at about 6:42 p.m. in reference to a man being confrontational with residents while walking in the neighborhood.

According to the sheriff's office, Duan refused to comply with orders to stand still, but was eventually secured.

Deputies identified the home where he lived and searched the home, where they found the body of a woman they identified as Duan's wife.

The two were estranged and had not been living together, according to the sheriff's office.

Duan was charged with murder and transported to the Forsyth County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
