Carrington Academy Windermere Campers Make Donation of Food Items
Campers at Carrington Academy Windermere in Cumming collected food items for Blessings in a Backpack to benefit children in Forsyth County
On June 27, campers at Carrington Academy Windermere in Cumming presented a donation of food items they collected to Kylee Zulauf, who is Miss Forsyth County and a former Carrington Academy student. The donations will be delivered to Blessings in a Backpack to benefit children in Forsyth County who don’t have access to meals during the summer. In addition to the food drive, campers hosted a lemonade stand and used the funds to purchase additional food items for their donation. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of helping other children in their community.
