Students celebrated the environment by planting herbs and releasing butterflies with residents at Towne Club Windermere

On April 20, kindergarteners from Carrington Academy Windermere in Cumming paid a special visit to a local assisted living facility to celebrate Earth Day with residents. Students stopped by Towne Club Windermere in Cumming to plant herbs with residents, as well as release butterflies into the environment. Students also received a lesson about bees from a local orchard representative, and they shared what they leaned with residents at Towne Club during their visit.
