Carrington Academy Midway Students Donate Food to Local Nonprofit

Students donated more than 800 nonperishable food items to The Place of Forsyth

Students at Carrington Academy Midway in Cumming recently held a food drive to benefit local nonprofit, The Place of Forsyth. Throughout November, students worked together to collect more than 800 nonperishable food items to help stock the organization’s shelves and provide meals to those in need during the holiday season. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back and helping others in their community.

The Place of Forsyth is a nonprofit social service organization that has been serving Forsyth County families in difficult times with emergency basic needs since 1975.
