Carrington Academy Students Give Back During the Holiday Season

Students supported Cumming First United Methodist Church, K.A.R.E for Kids and Toys for Tots

Students at Carrington Academy on Kelly Mill Road in Cumming recently took part in several holiday giving initiatives to benefit their community. Students first delivered more than 400 food items to Cumming First United Methodist Church’s Food Pantry to help stock their shelves and feed community members. Students fulfilled the wishes of local children by donating more than 30 gifts to K.A.R.E for Kids. Students also presented more than 25 gifts to a representative from Toys for Tots. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.
