Chattahoochee Pointe Park Temporarily Closed Starting Tuesday

The Forsyth County park will be closed for about a week while crews work on the trail there, officials said.

CUMMING, GA — Chattahoochee Pointe Park in south Forsyth County will be closed temporarily, starting Tuesday, as crews work on the trail there, county officials said.

The park, at 5790 Chattahoochee Pointe Dr., should be closed for about a week, according to a social media post from the county.

Workers will be coating the 2.5-mile nature trail there with a polymer intended to help maintain the trail. The polymer, called M10+50, is described as a cost-effective measure that will stabilize the trail surface and reduce future maintenance costs.
