Cumming Man Arrested For Dealing Meth, Marijuana

A search of the man's home also unveiled GHB, known on the street as a "date rape drug."

CUMMING, GA β€” A Cumming man who authorities say tried to sell drugs to an undercover officer has been arrested after a search warrant at his home allegedly uncovered more drugs, including meth.

Samuel Scott Carrington, 51, was arrested after the February 24 search on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of GHB and possession of drug-related objects.

GHB is a so-called "date rape" drug.

The investigation of Carrington began the first day of this year and culminated with the February 24 search.

He was taken by sheriff's deputies to the Forsyth County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
