Deck the Stalls Offers Holiday Fun for All Ages

While Raising Funds to Support Save the Horses Rescue

Sleigh-hay rides, reindeer (pony) rides, a petting zoo, kids’ entertainment area, delicious treats and pictures with Santa’s “reindeer horses” are just some of the fun activities the public can enjoy at Deck the Stalls on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (rain or shine) at Save The Horses Rescue farm located in Cumming, GA at 1768 Newt Green Road. This family-friendly, holiday event is a fundraiser for Save The Horses Rescue with proceeds helping to defray the cost of feeding and providing medical care for the more than 100 rescued horses and other animals that call the farm home. Admission and parking are free, and both cash and credit cards will be accepted for Deck the Stalls activities. For complete event details and to RSVP to attend Deck the Stalls, visit www.savethehorses.org.

“Deck the Stalls is our final fundraising event of the year for Save the Horses Rescue. Funds raised are used to rescue, feed and rehabilitate abandoned, abused and neglected horses and other farm animals,” explains Cheryl Flanagan, founder of Save the Horses Rescue. “We currently are caring for and providing a home to about 130 animals. Since we don’t receive federal or state funding, we rely on fundraising events like Deck the Stalls and donations from generous individuals and companies to cover our operational costs as well as volunteers to manage the daily farm needs.”
