Delivery Driver's Tip Yields Big Marijuana Bust
Forsyth County Sheriff's deputies say the eight pounds of pot they seized has a street value of around $72,000.

CUMMING, GA -- A delivery driver tipping off Forsyth County sheriff's deputies to a suspicious package led to a bust that captured what authorities say was $72,000 worth of marijuana.
The bust, announced Wednesday on the sheriff's office Facebook page, happened February 24, when a FedEx delivery driver approached deputies who were conducting a subdivision check and told them he smelled marijuana in his vehicle.
A K-9 unit was called to the area and the dog immediately alerted to drugs being in a package. A search warrant was obtained and five pounds of marijuana were found inside it, according to sheriff's deputies.
