Deputies to Wait Tables in Fundraising Effort

CUMMING, GA -- Forsyth County sheriff’s deputies will go from giving orders to taking orders during a fundraising event at a local restaurant later this week.

Deputies will be taking food orders at Norman’s Landing from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, the sheriff’s office said on Facebook Tuesday. Norman’s Landing staff will take alcoholic beverage orders.

The sheriff’s office will be looking for hefty tips, but not for themselves. All tips will go towards Relay for Life, according to the Facebook post.
