Forsyth's 'Play at the Park' Festival is Saturday

The popular festival is now in its 14th year.

CUMMING, GA β€” Now in its 14th year, Forsyth County's Play at the Park Family Fun Festival is Saturday at Fowler Park.

The event, featuring live entertainment and family-friendly activities, is free to the public.

"Year after year, Play at the Park is a wonderful event that brings families together for a day of fun," said Director of Parks & Recreation Jim Pryor. "We are looking forward to another great turnout this year and will have plenty of exciting activities for everyone to enjoy."

From 11 a.m.-4 p.m., there will be vendors, arts and crafts, a kids’ inflatable area, a food truck alley, petting zoo, animal adoptions and much more.

From 4-9 p.m., there will be tethered hot air balloon rides, a food truck alley and live music.

This is the first year the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Forsyth County Parks & Recreation on this event.

"The Chamber is excited to get the local business community involved in this year’s Play at the Park Family Fun Festival," said Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce Director of Tourism Anna Barlow. "We are thrilled to be a part of such a fun-filled, community-centered event."

The Play at the Park Family Fun Festival will be held at Forsyth County’s Fowler Park at 4110 Carolene Way in south Forsyth County.
