Holbrook Road To Be Closed For Construction

Forsyth County will be shutting down a portion of the road so crews can build a roundabout there.

CUMMING, GA — Forsyth County road crews will be shutting down a road in Cumming for a month and a half due to construction.

Holbrook Road, at the intersection with Burnt Bridge Road in northeast Forsyth County, will be temporarily closed to through traffic while crews work to build a roundabout.

The closure will begin on Monday, June 12, and is expected to last about 45 days.

Also on Monday, Forsyth County will close a portion of Martin Road, located in northern Forsyth County, to through traffic. The closure will allow for reconstruction of the intersection at Martin Road and State Route 9.

The road is expected to re-open to through traffic on or before Friday, August 18, weather permitting. Motorists’ patience during this temporary closure is appreciated.
