New Payment Machines Installed At Forsyth County Lake Parks
Forsyth Parks & Recreation installed payment machines for boat ramp fees at Charleston Park, Six Mile Creek Park and Young Deer Creek Park.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — Forsyth County Parks & Recreation has installed automated payment machines for boat ramp fees at Charleston Park (5850 Charleston Park Rd.), Six Mile Creek Park (6020 Browns Bridge Rd.) and Young Deer Creek Park (7300 Heard Rd.). Daily users will now pay by credit/debit card and are offered the option to purchase an annual pass onsite through the machines.
Park fees will remain the same: $5 per boat launch; and $40 per annual pass (50 percent senior discount for ages 55+). Previously, users inserted cash in an envelope and placed it in a metal box for daily fees or purchased an annual pass in person or by mail.
“We look forward to offering a more convenient way for park users to pay,” said Parks & Recreation Director Jim Pryor. “The machines add a modern touch to the parks and will also be more efficient for park staff.”
