Noah Is Northside-Forsyth's New Year's Baby

He was born at 5:13 a.m. on January 1, hospital officials say.

CUMMING, GA β€” Northside Hospital-Forsyth in Cumming has its New Year's baby.

Noah Micu arrived at 5:13 a.m. on Sunday, becoming the first baby born in 2017 at the hospital.

He weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 21 inches long. Noah's parents are Georgiana and Elian Micu, of Duluth.

The new parents said they were excited about their first baby.

"I’m getting used to the changing-diaper part," Elian Micu said. "Other than that, I have no idea what I’m doing."
